Automobile Accident Resulting in Neck Injuries
Description:
Our client was riding as a passenger on a 2007 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when a vehicle pulled out from a side street pulling a trailer, debris fell off the trailer into the path of the motorcycle – causing the motorcycle to hit debris in the roadway, causing a serious motorcycle crash. The driver of the truck and trailer claimed he had insurance; and, investigation found his insurance had lapsed just prior to the crash, making him an uninsured motorist. We made claim for all underinsured motorist coverage available under our client's motorcycle and automobile insurance agreements – obtaining all available insurance monies in a timely fashion. This case demonstrates the importance of having uninsured motorist coverage; as, recent studies show at least 25% of Florida's drivers have little or no insurance coverage.
