Description:
A 57 year old is operating his 2005 Harley-Davidson when a driver of a 2015 Ford Escape SUV violates his right of way, causing a significant collision between the two vehicles, causing life-threatening injuries to the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was ejected, his head struck the driver's window, he was transported from the scene by EMS and ultimately airlifted to a local hospital as a trauma alert, in critical condition. Injuries included a severe laceration to his left arm, a dislocated shoulder and other lacerations, including road rash to multiple areas of his body. The motorcyclist did not have any motorcycle insurance. The at-fault driver had insurance limits of $100,000.00, immediately tendered after legal representation.
