Motorcycle Accident Resulting in Broken Collar Bone Resulting in Surgery

Description:

23 year old motorcyclist test driving a friend's bike when a pickup truck travelling the opposite direction makes an illegal U turn, violating the biker's right of way, causing the motorcycle crash. The biker suffered from multiple injuries including a broken collar bone requiring emergency surgery, plus other injuries. After the crash, the driver of the pickup truck fled the scene, went to a nearby theater, witnesses followed. Afterwards, the Florida Highway Patrol located her vehicle in the parking lot of the theater, they found motorcycle parts from the crash inside the bed of the pickup truck; and, they charged her with leaving the scene of an accident, also charging her with Driving Under The Influence. Fortunately for this biker, witnesses followed the at fault driver and helped the authorities arrest the drunk driver, a drunk that had insurance.
