Motorcycle Accident Resulting in Multiple Lacerations & Disc Herniations
Description:
The at-fault driver exited a subdivision, entering the highway and violated the right of way of the 39 year old motorcyclist. Upon impact, the motorcyclist was ejected from the motorcycle, hit the at fault driver's side front tire and flew into her windshield up to his waist. The motorcyclist suffered multiple injuries to his head, neck, back, right arm and had right leg pain, also having extensive road rash or lacerations. Ambulance transport to the hospital resulted in numerous diagnoses including a head injury, wounds to his forearm and leg, neck and back pain, headaches and follow-up treatment revealed two disc herniations in his low back. The motorcyclist had no insurance, he had no underinsured motorist coverage; and, the at-fault driver had liability insurance limits of $100,000.00.
