Motorcycle Accident Resulting in injuries to left knee, left ankle, left foot with related lacerations, suture removal and scarring.
Description:
The driver of a Cadillac make a left turn at an intersection violating the right of way of the motorcyclist. The motorcycle, a Harley-Davidson Street Glide, was determined to be a total loss. The Sheriff's office issued a citation to the driver of the Cadillac charging him with possession of "Open Container of Alcohol" also noting he "Failed To Yield Right Of Way of the motorcyclist." The investigating officer also investigated for possible DUI and found the at fault driver not to be paired. Adding insult to injury, the at fault driver "claimed" he had a green arrow on a traffic signal. Fortunately witnesses stayed at the scene and provided statements to the officer noting stating the motorcyclist had a green light – proving the Cadillac failed to yield right-of-way. Fire Rescue arrived on scene, administered first-aid with emergency transport to a local hospital.
The motorcyclist was initially diagnosed with abrasions, lacerations, pain, tenderness of left arm, left foot and left ankle. In the following months, the motorcyclist was ultimately diagnosed with a neck sprain/strain, shoulder sprain/strain, left shoulder sprain/strain, left elbow sprain/strain, left shoulder sprain/strain and left foot sprain/strain. The biker also continued to take pictures of his injuries to show continued swelling and scarring of his elbow/forearm. With such injuries, medical records and other documentation, the motorcyclist was able to prove his damages caused from the motorcycle crash, resulting in a significant financial recovery. Goals in such case are to obtain best medical care/recovery, also to obtain best financial recovery.
Note:
The case resolved without need of filing a lawsuit, also saving the biker from litigation costs, additional time, and he obtained great results.
