Automobile/Pedestrian Accident Resulting in Soft Tissue Injuries.

Description:

Our client, 65 years of age, was a pedestrian in a crosswalk when an uninsured motorist made a left turn and struck her while she was lawfully crossing the intersection. Immediately beforehand, she pushed the walk button, waited for the walk signal, proceeded to walk across the street, when a car suddenly and unexpectedly drove through the light and hit her. Her left knee was hit, she struck the ground with her right elbow and twisted her back. Injuries included chest pain, right shoulder pain, left knee pain, abrasion to her right elbow, contusions to right hand and left knee. MRI studies revealed a supraspinatus partial tear and a hamstring tear. The at fault driver was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way, also for Driving While License Suspended. The at fault driver did not have any insurance.

This is another example:

Demonstrating the importance of having Uninsured Motorist Coverage in your automobile insurance policy. It is best to revisit your insurance agreement to making sure you have such coverage (especially living in Florida) having the highest limits you can reasonably afford, for the protection of yourself and your family.
