Description:
A 2013 Chevrolet SUV failed to yield the right of way of our client at an intersection while he was driving to work, causing his vehicle to also hit a tree, totaling both vehicles. He presented to an urgent care, saw follow up doctors, MRI testing revealed an L5-S1 disc herniation with nerve root impingement, upon the right S1 nerve root requiring surgery. The at fault driver's insurance Company, GEICO, tendered their policy limits of $100,000.00, our client's underinsured motorist carrier, State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company tendered his underinsured motorist coverage of $10,000; and, his parents underinsured motorist insurance carrier, USAA, tendered $40,000.00, for a combined total recovery of $150,000.00.
